London Camera Exchange normally have good deals on there (although in previous years I've always gone on the very last day of the show)

Yeah they offer trade ins during the show, they just inspect it for a few minutes and knock the value off whatever you are buying, I have used it quite a few times - and hopefully will be doing so again on Sunday. Looking to get a good deal on a a6300 or a6500...

I can try and ask them what they would normally offer for your lens in good condition if you like?

The lens is in good condition, no dints or scratched paint etc. Moderate signs of use.
I've got the box, manual and lens pouch, all mint condition. If that makes a difference to their offer.

Yes you can. I think it's £18 on the door.
There is parking, but it's expensive. I'd recommend parking at or near a railway station that goes to the NEC.

I've only driven once on a Tuesday with prebooked parking, but it didn't look like they were running out of spaces at all. What day are you looking at going?

£1799 seems to be the standard UK rip off price. It's cheaper at *******.

That was my guess for the Canon lens. They were/are selling a second hand one for £1350 to £1400.
So they're making quite a mark up.

Of course not!
I got it for £1349 with a spare battery and 64GB card, and they gave me £215 for my old a6000.
I don't own it, but the 70-300 is a cracking lens! What camera have you got atm?
