I've still got the a6000 with a few lenses, most notably the PZ18-105 F4 which I use the most at the moment. Rather than change up to the a6500 I thought the 70-300 would be better with the usual excuse of needing more reach! Yes, the 70-300 is a full frame lens but then think of the crop factor :).

Sorry for the late reply, have just found a flyer in my bag -LCE are selling the 70-200 F4 for £1129 and the 70-300 F4.5-5.6 for £1079. Not sure how this compares to online retailers standard prices?

Thanks for checking Mattewes, not too bad a price on the 70-300. They go second hand on ebay for around £850 depending on condition and £950 new from grey market suppliers. I'm trying to talk myself in to and out of (at the same time!) getting one!

haha, I know the feeling! Sometimes, there's just not enough reasons NOT to buy though...
