We had a thread on here awhile ago where a guy must have spent about £5000(?) on a gaming PC.(I'm sure it was a lot higher than that!)

Overclockers was making and and posting the pics on here.

But it was the best of the best PC, shame the thread got closed down for unknown reasons..

I said before I wouldn't have a stupidly expensive single PC. Instead I would have several decent specced machines to use as a LAN with friends

Didn't ArsTechnica do a 'Budget Box' 'Hot Rod' and 'God Box' system guide?

They went out to the market and put together 3 various specced systems that came under those headings?

The God Box was the 'if money was no object' answer...
