If I don't open a product am I allowed to return it?

Lets say I purchased item x from a shop via the net and it comes delivered tomarrow. If I don't open the package and return it back to the shop will I be able to have a full refund?

I've changed my mind about a product which will be arriving tomarrow and would rather buy a similar and better product from the same shop.

Pretty sure you can under the DSR, and there should be no "restocking fee" because it's unopened.

Yes, Distance Selling Regulations give you... I think it's 14 days to send said item back for a full refund.

You have to tell them you wish to return the item with 7 (working) days of recieving and they will give you a refund for the item however you will still be liable for postage to/from shop

Written notice within 7 days saying you wish to return the item, then once you have done that you have to take due care with the product until it is back with the retailler.

Have you thought of asking the shop, if you looking to spend more money with them and willing to pay the extra postage cant see why they would mind?
