if say i want to go to a courier and get something sent to my address, when i put in my postcode and building number it'll work out the rest of the address for me, however some reason this picks the office across the road which 100% has a different address. I then have to edit the details manually.

never been a real big issue until someone sent something to me and didn't realise to do this and it went to their office.

how would i go about dealing with this? these courier companies must use a database that has the details of which office is at which address but i've no clue where they get it from. i assume the royal mail are the ones who create this database, however i never have issues with royal mail delivering post to this building, so they must know which building is which making me think it's some where else i need to go.

the database/api is provided by royal mail.

you normally get the ability to overtype the address on those lookups though?

^^ have emailed them thanks

true, but it's annoying to have to do, and realise on me being the one who inputs the info. if someone else sends something to me, they could get it wrong which they recently did.
