TBF if you dont have any problems then there really is no need to update a BIOS. Most changes to them are speed or compatibility updates so if everything works and you are happy with it then forget about the update.
They are ridiculously easy these days though. My Rampage II Gene has a file browser in the BIOS flash menu to find the file to flash and just does its thing. Its nowhere near as stupid as it used to be with Dos-booting formatted floppies and whatnot...
