Not everyone is so internet savvy, someone on my wifes side of the family fell for one of the paypal scam emails and gave them everything, caused a few probs to say the least.

I don't allow memberships, so I can sit in solitude on my forum. Its nice to go there and reflect on life every so often.
 
If it was my forum...

I would allow swearing,

I would allow medical advice so people who are scared to go to the doctors, could see if anyone was in a similar situation.
 
If it was a concern for the mods that everyone is posting email scam threads then I guess they would make a sticky where people could post.

Some people don't even have the common sense to remove links from them when they paste them onto the forums, never mind to read stickies on them.

Everyone gets spam and scams. We don't need to come on here to see other people's.
