How would you define this sentence?

"One of my favourite, if not favourite game of all time"

  • One of his favourite, perhaps his most favourite game of all time
  • One of his favourite, but not his favourite game of all time

Do people use if not differently, I think its the first one btw.

Thanks :D

"One of my favourite, if not (most) favourite, game(s) of all time"

Commas are tough yo. Rubbish sentence though.

One of my favourite (from a choice of more than 1), if not (but not to the exclusion of) favourite games of all time (being the time I have owned said game)[and any others of a comparable goodness]

One of his favourite, perhaps his most favourite game of all time
