If using a gfx card - do you install mobo vga driver?

Fab thank you. I assume I would also then use the HDMI out on the gfx card rather than the mobo? Annoying its a mini cable needed and they dont supply it!

What is the deal with direct x these days? Does that still require a separate install?

yh hdmi from gpu to monitor

direct x is usually included in gpu drivers and game installs

you can google/download/install it separate if you want though
 
I think it will auto detect and use the gpu over the igpu

so shouldn't really affect anything

you can also use both igpu and gpu with lucid virtu software

So there's no need to clean drivers like when switching Nvidia to AMD or vice versa?
