If you could design....

Little off topic, the new source game where up to 4players have to co-op against masses of zombies or something looks good, thats my type of game! We dont need single player anymore, they need to start making true co-op experiences, after all, we generally all do have internet connections. Itll be much more fun working out puzzles designed for multiple people to take part in, aswell as having to communicate with each other employing tactics to survive etc.
Thats the way we should be heading!!!

I agree, having a game that requires people to rely on each other to complete the game would be great.

More realistic reactions too, like getting shot causes the players body to stumble etc.

Its funny more games don't do this, in fact Ghost Recon was the only game to do this properly and that didn't even have any physics, just simple animations. Its pretty realistic if you think about it and makes gun fights that much more tense.

the left for dead thats coming to steam is just like what you say peetee

yea - i did say 'that new source game' in the first sentance :D
I forgot the name, thanks for reminding me, i think it will be brilliant!!
Valve really are pushing games in a different direction.
HL2 physics gun, Portal, crossplayer, proper co-op games
And their multi-core support is going to be different to everyone elses isnt it?

I think steams going to be the thing that really sets PC gaming apart from console gaming. Its a great idea, and its given valve all the freedom of not needing a publisher really(except obviously someone still does get to publish the games, but doesnt take a cut when its sold through steam, better for games.)
I think I just love it because of free weekends, guest passes.
The ship & Garry's Mod really though :)
