'if you could turn back time, what one thing in your life would you change and why?'

Bought a house I looked at when I was 21 - sold just over 10 years later for 3x price :/

Saved more, saved up and bought the car I really wanted without blowing stupid money on mediocre rubbish.... after owning the car I really wanted not selling it :(

Don't do "regrets" they just bring you down, but if you want to think of the past and say to yourself "If only I did or didn't do that" then so be it.

Please do, he's one of the very few people on this forum who is completely and utterly without merit. He's 12, continually bleats about it, is from Afghanistan and is talking about how things are different, and is generally just a real annoyance.

I may have a splitting headache at the moment...

At least he's not a terrorist.

His posting isn't bad considering he's 12, and it is supposed to be a family forum. Don't care if he's from Afghanistan. He does start way too many threads though. Stick him on your ignore list if he bothers you that much.

On topic there's no point going around with regrets about things you did or didn't do. I'm happy with my decisions and the way life has panned out. If I could go back with the knowledge I have now I might well make different decisions. I didn't have that knowledge though so I made the best decisions I could have at the time.

I wish I would have learnt to drive when I was 18 rather than waiting until it was a necessity many years later. I missed out on a couple of jobs that had potential to change the course of my working life. One would have potentially lead to more money and a potentailly consitent career path, whereas the other would have been working for a company I would have loved to be a part of.

Never got together with my ex-wife in the first place 10 years wasted on that woman.

Be far more careful with my money then i was, i'd be far richer then i am at the moment.

Had more fun with girls during my twenties.

In an ideal world, I would change the fact that I wasted time on people who didn't deserve my time, and l would keep hold of the people that did deserve it.

The only problem is, if I changed things too much, I wouldn't have some of the people that my life revolves around now anymore, and I hate the thought of stopping them from being in my life.

The only thing I would actually change is I would've actually posted my NMAS form and applied for Uni at age 21.

Get on with life after school, instead of waiting for something to happen.

Lazy son of a *****

its a difficult one..I had my heart set on the Royal signals and failed to get in because of colour blindness issues...I wish maybe I had looked at another part of the armed forces instead of being so gutted and walking away from it..on the other hand I may never had met my wife of many years if I had joined up!
