If you had £200 for a graphics card..

A used 290 would also be a very good option. However, I'm assuming that it would most likely come with a reference cooler, which for me would probably be the onion in the ointment.

livable if you use headphones and keep it in quiet mode, for £200 wouldn't complain, hell i paid £350 for a new one and i aint complaining. does get loud in bf4 though....
 
I always have £200 for a card, but unless it is double performance then no! :(

Find me a card that is double the performance of a GTX 480 at £200? ;)
 
A used, reference, 290 (some of them even unlock to a 290X). Then save up a little more and get a RAIJINTEK MORPHEUS cooler
 
So i'm looking for the 290 with more that one fan as the stock cooler is cr4p?

If you're not sensitive to noise or you use headphones, you'll be okay with a stock cooler. I don't use headphones, & having gotten used to quiet performance it would therefore most likely be a no go from my perspective.
