If you had to buy

Here is the state of my noblechairs, with myself weighing at most 75kg for the entire time during my ownership.

The PU leather just splits and crumbles, all over the chair hence the leather patches all over it, its unusable without them as it'll cut my legs to pieces and be mega uncomfortable.
The padding on the bottom seat has completely split too.

I cannot believe anyone else saying they have had similar for 4/5 years like myself and its still perfect, unless I got one that should not have left the factory.

As stated, in my current experience of these chairs, whilst I do like the comfort of it, I cant buy one again based off of this experience.

I'm 6ft8 and 29st, finding any chair, gaming or otherwise that's suitable is a nightmare. I ended up getting a Secretlab Titan XL and couldn't be happier, I've had it over 8 months I think and apart from a cat scratch it still in perfect condition and comfortable for long sessions

@fiveub

Hey mate,

I did try to message you privately but I dont see the message button to raise a PM anymore.
Just wondering if you could have a look at my last comment in here and current state of the noble chair I had bought.

It seems very strange that others with larger, heavier frames or excitable kids have the same product without problems compared to myself. I know I am out of warranty on it, but I was not expecting to be this damaged/rotten after a few years of ownership, especially as I appear to be the only one who has that damage/rotten wear and tear on it.

Wondered if you had any idea or something I can do to sort this?

Had a Noblechairs Hero Black/Gold for a couple of years now or so and mine at least is still pretty much as good as new. I do wish they'd gone for less adjustable armrests though as the amount of adjustment seems silly and just means they rattle a bit and prone to being knocked into silly configurations and probably just added to the price for something most people won't care for.
Same here. Had it for 4-5 years and no issues, other than the gas cylinder going (bought some metal clamps from Amazon to stop it sinking).

I must sit on it 10-12 hours a day. It is not a leather seat.

I rejected buying this chair a bit ago because you could only get it direct from the maker in China. (They had their 'normal' chairs on Amazon, but not the 'sofa' chairs as they call them.

I spotted the other day that these are now on Amazon too. I think / hope that they might be the spiritual successor to the Kashmir - double stuffed cushions, suede-alike fabric.

Did you end up going for this chair? I'm interested as it has a pocket sprung seat.

I didn't!
There's a couple of reasons.
1) I'm kind of hoping someone else will and I can read their review.
2) For Christmas I got my wife to buy me a Lazyboy office chair - and had to give up on it a day later because it didn't work at all with the desk. So I'm especially lairy about buying a new one now, because I'll definitely get a look.

But I do still keep getting tempted by it.

I'm a bit dubious about some of the reviews - some people say the wings at the top stick into your shoulders.

I really like the idea of an air cushioned executive chair - like sofa seat or bed mattress feel to the base, for maximum comfort. Surely someone has (or can) make chairs like that?

I could see how those 'wings' could be an issue though. They do seem to protrude forward quite a lot. The advantage of it now being available from Amazon is the relative ease of a return. But it'd still be a faff for something so big.

My 9 year old DX Racer from OCUK is like that but it did last a long time though. I think you need to go with fabric etc
