The blackblood one isnt finished, in fact only half done. The rest of it is Joe Pineapples with his legs wrapped round blackblood and about to knife him!! Taken from Book 4 of the ABC Warriors, where they are trying to Abaddon(sp) from messing with the blackholes.
Took 6 hours just to do Blackblood and it hurt.
Will see what pics i can take.

Thanks, I know what you mean about the lack of passion for bands these days. I think it doens't help that there are so many bands marketed today that just lack any real spark of originality or even passion in their music but because they are so middle of the road, every radio station and TV show can play them and they get loads of exposure which in turn breeds yets more of the same, bland 'safe' rock. It really disappoints me that so many great bands get overlooked because of this, The Wildhearts being one.

During the 90s they had quite a lot of exposure and moderate success in the charts but they never really hit it big because they were rather too incendary to be really supported or championed by most mainstream media.

They didn't help themselves in a lot of ways either I must admit, what with constant drugs, drinking and in band fighting....

However when the music does the talking for them they really are one of the finest and most passionate bands I've ever heard. I would most definitely recommend checking them out!!!

I've not noticed any Wildhearts threads, do they turn up in the music section cos I don't really frequent that, tho maybe I should, I could talk Wildhearts all day long!!! :o)

Opeth will never be mainstream, its just not gonna happen roadrunner will try to bring it mainstream but the band will always have that in the shadows edge to them.

It was mentioned by me, as im a huge fan, seen them live quite a lot.

If anything, the latest Opeth album is less mainstream (certainly less mainstream metal), and will alienate a fair few hardcore old school Opeth fans. Some of the random proggy passages in Watershed are just bizarre!

I don't know who they are and yes having tool tatooed on you is hilarious, even if a band exists called tool no way would I have it tatooed on me :D just like if there was band called idiots ...:p

Minus the writing on my shoulderblade. I also have a halfmoon/sun tattoo on my chest, but it's in stained glass style and nothing like that horrid mess the frontman of Slipknot has.

My girlfriends little sister (15) said she was going to get a fake ID and a Metallica tattoo, then we asked her why, and she completely flopped, we then had to tell her no man would ever go near her. Does anyone that isn't gay/lesbian like metallica past the age of 15? I had a friend that got a band tattoo about 2 years ago, he's now at uni doing a medical degree, the band have since split up, I hope he learns how to remove tattoos!
I love metal, but I hate the image, I just don't see the point, although I know people who claim dole because they have the metal image and can't get a job because of it, idiots.
