Talking with my wife last night we struggle to see a future for us or the children in this country. So while I don't think we'll actually move countries, it got me wondering where we would go if we did. Canada is one place that springs to mind. My wife has some relatives out there and as I work for a very large international company I may be able to apply for a move and therefore get sponsored by them.

So where would you emigrate to and just as importantly, why would you choose that country?

American, Oz, Canada

Work - all 3 have plenty of jobs in what I can do and also what my wife does.
Children - I see those as the best places for my children to grow up, best opportunities
Language - Primarily English, this is a big thing and I don't think I would consider moving to a country where it is not the primary language.

USA.

as previously mentioned the main language is english which is a big plus.

every time ive been ive loved it and could easily see myself living there.

Anywhere that's not an island so probably the USA. It's a wonderful feeling to know that you can hop in your car and just drive for days on end without hitting an impassable body of water or faffing about with ferries.

Canada I have been 3 times and always found it to be really good there, I'm not sure I would want to endure the winters there though.

Canada, Hong Kong, Singapore

Canada for the snow sports and because it seems a cool place to be if you can stay away from the French.
Hong Kong and Singapore because they are welcoming, safe, high tech, racially diverse, vibrant economies
