If you were to emigrate then which country would you go to, and why?

Only for a couple of days but I loved it. There's still a British vibe to the place, has more greenery than other non European cities, and so much to do and see

I'd love to go but it just seems too mad for me. I watched a tram journey on YouTube and there were just people everywhere. I couldn't be doing with that. :D

I have, to Taiwan. Plan on being here another 18 months or so before briefly heading back to the UK, then moving to whichever country seems interesting to me at that point in time, possibly Taiwan again.

Chose this to make use of my Chinese without actually having to live in China, which I was thoroughly fed up of after a year there. Made logical sense, and I already had a few friends over here who I met back in Bangkok in 2006, so the move was pretty easy. My life fits in a suitcase :p

Vegas.

People immediately think: 'oh, for drinking and gambling, he's just young and into partying or whatever', but that's not the case. I just simply love the place and its surrounding area. The desert is amazing to drive around and I've fallen in love with places like Lake Mead, etc.

I've enjoyed it more than any other place, despite not ever doing the two main things people actually go there for (I was under 21 every time).

It's my one dream in life and hopefully one day I'll make it...

Australia. Purely because ive got family there & it would make the whole moving, settling in business that little bit easier.

Canada, but specifically Vancouver. It is a lovely city, with a great cultural life, e.g I don't think you would get bored there, Plus the outdoor lifestyle, skiing, sailing, climbing, cajoling mountain biking etc I have been about 20 times, and love it. I dont really like Toronto, and although Quebec and Montreal are fun to visit I could never consider living there.

Canada or the U.S. due to extended family being over there already, failing that, Spain (although a part not too tarnished by British tourists!) due to the people, climate, way of life (tanking economy excluded!!) and a love of the country.

Canada I have been 3 times and always found it to be really good there, I'm not sure I would want to endure the winters there though.
While they are pretty darn cold, most people have command start in their vehicles, so if you need to go anywhere, you're only out in the cold for as long as it takes you to walk from your door and into your warm car.

I dont really like Toronto.
I don't know if you can hear it, but that's the sound of western Canadians everywhere cheering.

I've looked into Canada 2 years ago and could probably get accepted based on my career but decided I don't want to emigrate at this point in my life. I most likely will at some point and it'll likely be Canada if my career is still relevant at the time.

I love the standard things such as the scenery, the winter and summer weather but also know many people who moved there and everyone speaks very highly of the people and the lifestyle.
I feel from what I have heard, I could fit in there.

My plan now is to keep my investments going here until I have £200,000 cash or so then I can go over without a job but be under no immediate pressure to find one
