If you won a £1,000,000, what would yo do with it?

£1 million isnt a lot of money nowa days really. Could easily spend that much on a boat.
 
I'd be boring but practical sadly. Give £250,000 to my mum, £250,000 to my dad and use the last £500,000 to buy a place and car of my own and just live on it as well as a job because it really isnt that much money after giving away half of it, though it would be my choice since they need it more than I do.
 
Im not sure what I would do savings wise, as due to inflation , you wouldnt get much out of the interest. Taking inflation and tax into consideration you would only really get 15k profit off the million.

Having said that, I would get a house, a 50+ inch TV, a new pc and a skyline r34. what more could a 19 year old want:p
 
Buy a bigger tv, backup xbox for if mine breaks then I'd continue to live with my parents while the interest rakes up :D

Pay off all my Debts, Spend a little on a new Car etc..., Put the rest in the Bank!.. (is that a little too sensible??? :p )
 
£900,000 into no-risk investments. I'll trade £100,000 on CFDs and FX. I figure with that much capital, I can afford wider stop-loss/limit spreads so should be able to triple/quadruple that in a year perhaps - then £400,000 the next year, do the same. Keep doing that for a decade. Live off the interest on the £900,000 for the time being and also hold down a job in the City. Then retire in ten years time with way more than £1m!
 
Go travelling around the world starting at America.

i would keep the rest in the bank earning interest.
 
I would split it and donate it to muslims, transexuals and gay/lesbian community groups. Just like the National Lottery funds ;)
 
I'd also spend some just to watch this happen again
