I think we all have a dream game in our heads, that one game we want to play but is technologically impossible to produce.

My game is a driving game, where you can download your street, your city into the game and play a recreation of it. Kind of like Gran Turismo World.

So whats your dream game come true?

you actually have tactile control and near unlimited option like i could pick up some scrap metal and weld it to my car etc sort of like a garry's mod with gloves to control my ingame hands and zombies.

Walk along the yellow brick road, then the sky clouds over with black clouds, thunder and lightning. Then skyscrapers push up from the ground all around, and all the wizard of Oz creatures turn black and evil, then monsters like godzilla and king kong appear so you run into one of the buildings, but the doorway gets blocked by frankenstein and the stairway by dracula, you hide under some stairs as they both move towards you. The screen fades to black.

One of my childhood dreams, one of the few i can remember, as i had it on more then one occasion.

Ah memories.

I remember having a good Half Life 1 dream a little while after the original came out. It was team deathmatch and started off with the map being a very tall canyon with one team setting up defences (a few hundred or so infantry.) Then the round started and some Giant-Walker-robots-type-things, a few hundred feet tall, with lots of infantry support came stomping out of the mist and all hell broke loose. It was the best game I never played :D

This is all actually possible.

You shoud all learn to Lucid Dream :p

Lucid dreaming is awesome.

Dream game? A game of the books I intend to write at some point. It's hard to describe, but broadly an open-ended fantasy RPG with an open-ended class system. Sort of how Elder Scrolls broke away from fixed classes and defined you on your skills, but without the skill limitation - or maybe a much more fluid skill system.

I was thinking more like, not actual dreams youve had but games youve dreamt up that you wish could be made.

It doesnt have to be an impossible game to make due to technology constraints, but a game that probably will never see the light of day.

My dream game is actually a collaboration of a few in one game world.

Think Assassin's Creed in Liberty City where Niko (or equivalent) is running about stealing cars etc.

Actual dream game would be a GTA MMO produced by Polyphony Digital along with their licences which means thousands of real life cars.

So cross WoW/GTA/GT and that's my dream :)

A space opera game where there are massive fleet battles with Crysis level graphics...BUT you are a single man running around on your battleship, watching the battles in first person out of the windows, issuing orders, perhaps repelling boarders and boarding enemy ships!

Perhaps there could be options:

Fleet Admiral (RTS Style gameplay from the bridge of your flagship - still first person)
Captain (Control of one ship from the bridge)
Marine (On board one of your ships, fighting boarders and boarding enemy ships)

Imagine a multiplayer match with two teams, each team with one fleet admiral, 50 captains and 500 marines

it would be me realising I could fly, managing my airspeed really well by swooping a little, but then plummeting to ground, losing my stomach, and waking up.
