Our network is called Galactica-Actual, and all the clients are named for callsigns in the show. My Laptop = Apollo, the wife's = Kat, My (aged) PC = Husker.

There's a theme, but we've got that many network clients, I can't remember them all :/

An SSD drive upgrade is the single most effective way to increase system performance in orders of magnitude and you will wonder why you didn't do it sooner. A 120GB drive these days from a good brand and controller lineup is about £90 while a 256GB one is about double respectively.

Big PC is quadzilla
Macbook is MacTop
media server is media-srv
PS3 is PS360
XBox360 doesn't have a name
router is called router
Firewall is called cloberella (random futurama reference)
Airport is derfleyAPE, wifi networks are imaginatively named 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz.

All pretty simple really.
