If your team could sign one player of your choice?

I think Fabregas is better, scores more goals, sets up more goals, is younger and will get better as he matures and he's been doing it in a midfield that has never settled or suits him.

Fair enough, don't get me wrong I practically love Fabregas, it's just strange to see non-Arsenal fans like him so much, especially after the 2 years Xavi has just had

xavi is a lot better, passing, free kicks and through balls he is much more effective, but it could be down to the players around him as well. i would rather have xavi and fabregas as backup rather than the other way round

He's 7 years older and in his prime, Fabregas already outscores and assists him in a tougher league and has done for years. Fabregas at Barcelona would be phenomenal, his control of games and being able to dictate the tempo will improve as he gets older. He's an incredibly underrated player by a lot of fans. Should he go to Barcelona this summer, Arsenal are screwed.

What's so special about Fabregas is how good he is so soon. He's literally 3 or 4+ years ahead of any other CM in his age group which is mindblowing when you think of how small the margins are in football

Ahh. I love that Cescy little Spaniard. :D

*Swoons*

I loved him anyway, but when he stayed on the pitch against Barca even though he was clearly hurt just made me love him even more!

Out of curiosity, why are all the Chelsea fans choosing Aguero, he's decent and has some potential but he's not that good, miles away from being the best striker in La Liga, never mind the world

He's young, skillful, strong and versatile and would fit in perfectly. He's also available which can't be said of the better forwards in la liga (let's assume villa is off to barca). Scoring two great goals against us in the champions league might have something to do with it too. :p

For me pato seems a bit weak for the prem. Torres is an option but is expensive and has injury issues...

he shouldn't have gone in the first place :p

He's probably on a bigger wage after two transfers and contract bumps than if he stayed, and he'd probably not have broken into the Barca first team any sooner either, so win win for him :p

I think Lassana Diarra to be honest, we desparately need a foil alongside Fabregas in a 4-4-2, Song isn't close to world class. Essien started off as a more defensive midfielder, and is VERY good, but he's more offensive than defensive, though still excellent defensively. You really do need a Makelele in a great team for when Essien and the rest of the midfield is caught up the field.

I can't name a DM thats a better passer of the ball, has that inate ability to run into 3 players have the ball bounce around everyones leg and he still comes away with it, great reading of the game, strong, more than enough pace and a very good eye for the right pass forwards to start an attack aswell.

Since he's been playing less Real have been conceding goals like mad, and they were far stronger with him rather than Alonso in the team, or both in the team and considering the utter crapness that is Real's defense people should recognise the insanely fantastic job he's been doing covering them as much as possible.

I think a DM is more important than a great keeper for now, better to not have shots on goal at all , than a better keeper. Keeper wise, Casillas maybe, he takes a lot of blame for the crap defense infront of him but really is very very good.

See I don't get this at all either, Aguero loves to throw his weight around and muscle players but isn't the single best finisher ever, nor the strongest. Considering Drogba has probably been the best player in the league this year, and his main strengths are almost exactly those of Aguero's, I really don't see why you'd want a shorter less strong copy of Drogba who scores less and gets less assists.

He's got potential sure, but you've got the finished all grown up article already.
