ikariam web browser game

No. The palace is always built and upgraded at your capital.

Once the build/upgrade is complete, you locate a free plot on an island, click on it and choose "colonise". You must also have an additional 1200 wood, 40 spare citizens and X amount of gold. Can't remember exactly how much gold though.

Thank heavens.

As I can't buy any materials from around me. And I take it a palace is built on another island giving you access to materials?

as mentioned you need 1200 wood, 40 ppl and 12k gold plus you can send 300 of sulphur, wine, crystal, marble if you got spare as thats the limit till you get warehouse in new colony

by the time you'll need wine as well as marble and crystal you'll have already 4 colonies so should have access to all resources or you can skip sulphur for either wine or crystal as sulphur is quite cheap to get
your biggest "problem" will be to upgrade warehouse to be able to stock everything to upgrade palace to lvl4 :D

If you can't find a particular resource for sale around your island, you can also try the Ikarium forums. When I first started, I did a couple 1:1 trades with people to get myself going. (However, if your first island is sulfur, you probably won't find anyone willing to trade 1:1. In fact, you're better off just restarting.)

I've been considering moving alliances for a while. My alliance is quite small but we control our islands quite nicely. However i'm 20k ahead of the next player so it makes working together a bit one sided.

I might look at contacting CEG. I broke into the top 100 for the first time the other day, keeping hovering around high 90's, low hundreds. My aim is to cement my top 100 position. Got around 45k points at the moment, conentrating on building my army and fleet now, i'm finding pillaging to be quite fun :)

I might msg you in game Darg to speak about CEG if thats ok, your IGN is Darg I presume?

Feel free to. Yes my coords are in the post of mine you quoted. Send me a message and I'll see about getting you a position. I'm sure they'll be happy to have you.

Hey guys I've just built a 2nd colony, how come I can't collect resources though?

Can't collect wood or stone. Bit confused.

NVm you have to change the drop down menu to the other settlement.

Hey guys.

Can someone post some information on corruption in here for me please. I can't check the boards or login to Ikariam at work and I just wanted a quick reminder of how it works.

The problem is, I don't think many people know how corruption works. It seems to be a percentage of your population is 'unhappy' and acts as a negative growth element. Building the residence building lowers it. I find that I just build what ever will make the most people happy for the required resources, no matter if it is a new level of the tavern, museum, or residence.

delta serevr, OCUK allaince.
Im sick of some dude on my isle attacking, he saves up for ages. tonight he attacked with 32 steam giants, 42 phalanx, cooks and a whole host of other crap.
And although i had a fairly large garison i'm likey to lose the lot (again).

Anyone in a position to help, this dudes lvl19 and part of G_W.

I'd heard that corruption will get progressively worse but what I really want to know is whether its a MUST to upgrade your Governors Residences to match the palace or can you leaver them as, say... level 2 and "control" it in other ways?
