I got the top link ones for behind my 42" plasma.

i bought 5m from ebay. RGB 5050.

gone a bit led crazy there

that stuff would be way to bright to go behind a tv.

its ment to be subtle, not like turning on the big light.

Technically it should be d6500k daylight white, at a brightness of 10% of your peak white output (I think) - something like the Ideal Lume lights at what you should get for bias lighting (esp. if you care about TV calibration, since having different colour light around your TV makes calibration worthless).

That said, for mood lighting it's great and the strip lights are good VFM compared to something like the Philips LivingColor lights.
