THANKS! Is that patch 4.09m must be applied first before upgrading to UP2? The complete package offers other aircrafts too. It does no harm to the upgrade of UP2 does it?

I'd use official patches first before applying mods.

Hey guys,
Is Rise of Flight sort of the same breed of Wings of Prey? I saw the graphics and landscape of ROF bears some similarity with WOP, that's why I ask.

Broken link, but the ONLY version you should buy is the Black and Red 1946 box, all others are older and have missing addons etc. Give it until Thusrday and you'll be able to get it from GoG again I'd suspect.

Sorry guys...took it with my phone camera. I'll reduce its size.

I have problems, just installed the game. Now I have the original IL-2, then the Forgotten Battle and the Pacific Theatre.

I then applied the 4.09m patch I downloaded from somewhere. After then weird things happened. When I started the game, it loads up to 5% and the loading screen just went away without trace, no error message nothing!!!

What have I done wrong? Also why I was never asked to input the serial number during the installation? Also therte is a file called "a" only that a.exe file works to start the installation...any clue?

There is no serial key for IL2.

When you patched it did you make sure the patch extraction was pointed at the main IL2 directory?

No it's IL-2 Sturmovik 1946. There is a Key which is printed on the inside the CD case on the left. XXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX is the format
