You say that, but I see people fighting over CRT monitors because they've jumped onto the "retro gaming" craze. If only I'd saved that old kit, I'd be a millionaire.. :)

That's because they are using old equipment when there are new options available.

You can play all those games off a raspberry pi which supports dual 4k monitors.

So you have some people who refuse to move with the times.

All you need to do is check gumtree people are giving them away

With respect, I just can't see anyone buying a B grade monitor like some of the ones you have listed where the prices are more than a couple of hundred pounds, let alone ones over £2000 !
The state of the panel market today with poor QC generally, is a huge risk with only 3 months warranty. The prices would have to be much more aggressive for most people to take the risk surely?

Yeah I looked at one of them and new it was only £30 more. So do I buy used with 3 months warranty or pay £30 for 2 year warranty?

No brainer

You aren't going to be doing competitive gaming on such a screen. It's more for single player and work

You see I was thinking that I would just prefer the one in here but then I had a proper look around before spending 550 on a whim and found this exact monitor at £449.98 at a yorkshire based ocuk competitor. I'm now thinking I might just buy that or not buy a new monitor at all yet. I currently have a 4k 28" panel coming from 3x 1080p panels so was thinking I would run both this screen and my 4k panel as I miss the flexibility of more than one screen. Id have to keep the flat 28" panel as I can't imagine a curved screen being any good at all for any image work, so this would in fact be a more gaming focused screen than what I currently have. For this to be even attractive though it needs to be 10% cheaper than the one at £449 so basically £400 or there abouts. Something tells me ocuk wouldn't want to go there given what their likely buy price was.
