what facts?

Could you provide some facts etc. dogoid? I can't be bothered with a 1h45m documentary but I could just as easily write a little story about the Illuminati as you have done in this thread and it would be no less credible as your posts currently stand.

Well I know a few free masons and that is exactly what they do, I'm just assuming the Illuminati are much the same.

there are degrees of levels and knowledge in freemasonry , people in the police force , judges lawyers etc are not privileged to the workings of the higher echelons of masonic orders , its all compartmentalized , like a pyramid all the way up to the capstone , funny how a pyramid with the capstone removed with an eye on it is one the one dollar bill, think they are trying to tell us something?

the all seeing eye, the all seeing, the illuminated, the Illuminati, they believe they are the enlightened ones, the all knowing and all seeing.

also on the one dollar bill is the words " Novus Ordo Seclorum" which translated to 'new order of the ages' in other words, a new world order

all i can do is refer you to the people i mentioned in the above post , and let you go on your own path, im not really asking you to instantly believe what i say , thats just as bad as instantly not believing in what i say, learn what info is out there and then form an opinion.

You've s National Treasure as well! Cool!

/I must apologise if I seem that I'm coming off as rude and brash, but unfortunately we don't share the same opinion, and I've never liked the "I'm enlightened, if you tried you could be as wise as me" approach which some of your posts might put across.
Unfortunately, so far you've shared a few well known facts, which is doing nothing to further your claims. I'm always up for reading up on hokum in order to base my opinions on. After all, one can't defend his opinion if he can't back it up.

David Icke is my hero and I believe it when he says the Illuminati are lizards.
The Truth is out there.

See is the kind of proof I needed. I believe every word of it now :)

My only experience of Illuminati is via Deus Ex games, that's all. :o

Doesn't seem real.

the term Illuminati wasn't created by ionstorm, obviously the makers knew their stuff to base a game on it.

and just because information is in game form, does not mean its not true.

Ah, I was waiting for the illuminati symbol on the dollar bill to be mentioned - it's one of the classic beliefs. I just knew someone would drag that one up eventually (and yes, I have seen the US one dollar bill and know the symbol to which you are referring). Can't believe it took until post #22 for it to happen though. :)

Are there people who would like the illuminati to exist? Hell yeah, there most definitely are. Big businessmen, those sorts of people - the likes of Rupert Murdoch to name just one.

Do they actually exist in some form? Maybe - after all, the Freemasons have existed for a very long time, and it's not hard to see that the top echelons of the Masonic Order would at least try to exert Illuminati-like influence. Whether they do, or have any connection to what people call the Illuminati, is another matter entirely.

Do they have the level of control some suggest? Doubt it. There are ways and means to control individuals, but the populace as a whole is stupid, chaotic and generally uncontrollable. You can suggest things (that's what adverts do), encourage things, even demand things, but whether the populace take any notice of you is another matter entirely. I very much doubt there are aerials beaming mind control signals into everyone's homes like some malfunctioning Matrix. :D

if you read my post properly you would see that i was not referring to ME as enlightened.

The people who really run the world have that perception of themselves

It's worrying about the Freemasons though. In my old High School one of the teachers was not a good teacher and should have been fired for several reasons. However the Head of the governers and also the headteacher are also in the Freemasons, but the accused teacher is higher up the ranks (apparently) so it was a long long time before he was finally fired. I believe there may have even been an article on it in the local paper.

Now that sort of thing I can believe. It was worryingly commonplace not so many years ago actually - at least it was until there was so much publicity about such behaviour. Not saying it doesn't still happen - they're probably just a little bit more subtle about it now.
