I've not long had my first. Our son is now 10 weeks old and tbh I'm finding it all a bit of a struggle, at 35 after 16 or so years of it just being the Mrs and me.
I never wanted kids at all, although my mrs has always been desperate. As has already been said the first 6 weeks are harder than I was prepared for and I'm about at my tolerance level for being Poo'd wee'd and sicked on
Then it turns out he's a ferrari fan and I will have to go on Jeremy Kyle to despute paternity
Enjoy it mate, at the very least you now have one more Ipswich fan to transfer your suffering onto

Best advice I can give is dont forget about the Mrs, when the little one comes in, it is easy to forget that before them, there was a "Mr and Mrs" and not "Mum and Dad".
