It's been a while since I built a PC.

I need a CPU and motherboard that will handle any game I throw at it. I already have a GTX 570 but it's being severely bottle necked by my Athlon II x2 :o

My budget is about £150 which needs to cover the cost of a CPU and motherboard capable of unlocking the potential my GPU has. I really don't want to go over £150 and would massively appreciate it costing even less!

Thanks!

No my current setup isn't DDR3 but that's not a problem, I've already factored that i'll need to buy some ram :)

Edit: do you mean the A10-5800k?

Is this the best value for money then?

Please do not factor onboard graphics. I have no need for them as I already have a GTX570.

After doing my own research, I reckon the FX-6300 is probably the best bang for buck. It's only £99 on OCUK this week too.

Can someone clarify this? A10, i3 or FX?
