I like my multiplayer games and I have a hankering for the 360. Are there any places you recommend to get any of the items listed below? £40 per game seems extortionate!

XB360 premium
2* play & charge kits
1* wireless controller
PGR3
Perfect Dark
Halo2 (for 8 player linkup, will this work with a 360 and XB classic?)
VGA cable (Will the 360 be fine on my PC monitor and how does the sound connect?)

Any other recommendations and tips welcome.
 
U can pick games up second hand from the MM's on here for £30 normally if not look on ebay. But other than that brand new tescos are £40 and some online retailers may be a few quid cheaper.

Instead of the play and charge i believe u can get a quick charger thing?

Halo 2 can be had for £20 from highstreet or £40 if u get a live starter kit as well!

How big is ya pc monitor? U will get Hi-Def picture quality thru but unless its widescreen u get borders i believe. Also for the sound the left and right audio plug things are seperate so u get a convetor to plug into the line in on ya sound card.

A KVM switch from ocuk means u can flick between PC and ya 360 if u are using ya monitor.

My monitor is 18 inches 1280*1024 and borders wouldn't bother me. I use the DVI input for my monitor currently so if I use the VGA cable then I would just change it by pressing abutton on the monitor.

you can get the VGA cheaper too, i got my cable for £5 ;)

the "revision" xboxes havnt been announced yet...therefore no1 knows yet :D E3 is the guestimate for annoucement and to be honest i couldnt wait so bought a 360 lol
 
i get my 360 tomoz! but the games i have played on with my mates in multiplayer are as follows (the fun ones imo):
>burnout revenge
>PGR 3
>Outfit (ignore review , multiplayer is addictive!)
>Battlefield 2!
>ghost recon

theres a few good games to keep you going, i got outfit and ghost recon coming tomoz and the rest coming 2 weeks time (pace myself!)
 
Think i might get a VGA cable at some point and a new desk so i can fit it all on same one.

I personally hate/loathe/detest Belkin, so I went for the D-Link KVM.

Also, get Burnout Revenge and Call of Duty 2, they are the best games IMO (and I've played most of them - check my Xbox)
 
The new revison is coming out spring 2007 so not for ages yet...

Have fun mate they are great, get the new fifa if you play a lot of games with your mates, is ace playing fifa with the mates...
