In 1982 there was the incident with the pigeon. In 1983, no one died. In 1984, no one died. In 1985, no one died. In 1986... I mean, I could go on.​

Ahh The Day Today, that swimming pool was a death trap, and the incident with a pigeon :)

He sure was, he did the Sports Desk section, he commentated on World Cup 94 in the USA, 'That guy must have a traction engine on his foot' and 'That keeper has goal pie all over his face', classic quotes from the master.
