I'm devastated

Dear Mr ******

Thank you for your order with Overclockers UK.

Unfortunately AMD only had a limited quantity of this product for sale and we will not receive any more stock.

Due to high levels of website traffic and thousands of people trying to order the product at the same time, we were unable to prevent the product from overselling.

We have shipped orders on a first come first served basis and regret to inform you that we do not have sufficient stock to complete your order.

We are working hard to process refunds as soon as possible. Please do not call or message us as this will only slow the process.

The good news is there will be a variety of new products available for sale from next Wednesday (25th).

We apologise for any inconvenince caused.

Best regards
Overclockers
I am sorry to hear this.

Remember that AMD sell GPUs directly via the AMD Store.

AMD will sell 6800 / 6800 XT at RRP, you will not be gouged.

Keep it in mind and check periodically for future stock.

I have already gone 3 ro 4 months without a PC.
I don't understand how people get themselves into such situations. There's plenty of perfectly decent hardware available, instead of missing out for months, just buy a 3100 (if waiting on Zen 3) and a 1650 Super or 1660 (which should have perfectly decent resale values).

The very fact that they say they won't be getting anymore of the reference cards means there should be plenty of AIB stock next week as mentioned by Kyle Bennet at HardOCP. Look forward to getting the better version of the gpu with better coolers.

4 or 5 months without a pc? Rookie numbers. Why not buy something that will do the job until some stock comes up and you aren't getting bent over on release day pricing? I don't get it.
