So here goes... after much 'umming' and 'aaaaing', I've decided to give watercooling a try. There are two reasons behind my decision:

1) If I'm honest, I'm a little bored. I have some overtime coming up at work soon and I'm going to need something to keep me occupied whilst I work 7 days a week for the next 8 weeks :( . Otherwise, I may just go insane.

2) I love how subtle my HTPC is at the moment when idling but on load, well, it's like the 7850 wants to take off and I'm sure the Scythe wants to join it in some sort of mid-air combat at 10000ft above my house  It's irritating and what with the kids making the amount of noise they do I'm craving complete silence when I'm in my own world slaying Giants in Skyrim. You're right, I could stuff some headphones in, but where's the fun in that :D

I've seen some of the kits available from EK and XSPC for example but what I'd really like is to go completely custom. I love tinkering and what have you and I think this way I'd get the most enjoyment out of things. Getting the custom fittings, the right colours, routing it all etc... (I've seen some gorgeous Monsoon purple angled fittings  )

I'm looking to cool two things. My 3770k and whatever graphics card I decide to go for. I've read a few threads on here and think the best way to go is a large dual radiator in the roof of the case and a smaller single to the rear. This will leave room for a large (200mm?) slow RPM fan in the front bringing in some nice cool air.

Anywho, my first port of call would probably be to change the case as there's no way I'm fitting anything else into the GD06. It's chock full as it is. So, I've been looking at the Bitfenix Prodigy and Phenom as well as the AeroCool Dead Silence case. All lovely but have their flaws (and this is what I'm after some help with).

So I guess I better ask some questions:

1) I've heard mATX motherboards overhang slightly when using the Dead Silence case and removing the 3.5" HDD cage. Is this the case? If I intend to mount a rad in the top and rear, does this mean I can keep the cage in and no restrict airflow into the case too much?

2) If I went for the Bitfenix Phenom mATX case with the motherboard inverted, would the GPU sit too close to the roof of the case in order to be able to watercool it efficiently?

Thank you for your help with aiding me in dipping my toes into watercooling. I have so many questions at the moment but I figure it would be best to start with the case choice.

Specs of my current setup can be found below.

OK, I've been doing a little bit of research and think I've come up with some sort of custom watercooling solution. Would you guys be so kind as to take a quick glance and let me know if this is going to work please?

New components
Case - Bitfenix Phenom mATX
GPU - MSI GeForce 780GTX

Cooling
EK 240 radiator (top of case)
EK 120 or 140 radiator (rear of case)
EK Supremacy CPU block
EK FC780 Acetal gpu block
EK EK-DDC 3.2 PWM X-RES 100 res/pump combo

Could I also just check that I have the order correct in terms of coolant flow please? res/pump > 240rad > cpu > 120rad > gpu > res/pump

Fans would be either Scythe GT's or Corsairs. Not sure how I would mount them in terms of push or pull, I guess I need to do some more reading. Just trying to get the ball rolling really.

Thanks in advance for your help.
