Is it just me or has FF become rather buggy and unstable over the last year or so? I'm experiencing 3 rather common issues with it at the moment...

Youtube Videos keep Crashing - I'll be watching a video when suddenly it goes off with 'application error' or something comes up and I have to refersh the page and skip back to where I was..

Pasted Links Not Working IN Facebook - You know when you post a youtube video or picture in your status or on someone's wall and it comes up with the preview image/player? Well that doesn't happen most of the time when I do it on FF, all I get is the URL.

Regular Page Not Found Error - About 30% of the time I click on a link to an external wepage I get a 'page not found' error, then when I click refresh it comes up as it should.

The first two issues I also have on my laptop so I know it's not an issue with my PC itself. Moving over to Chrome me thinks.

I'm sure the break up will be hard but you will get over it soon enough and then you can move on with your life.

I've always found Firefox to be slow and rather bulky, for lack of a better word.

It just doesn't feel as sleek and fast and Safari or other browsers.

I've had no issues with FF. You'll not go wrong with Chrome tbh, it's a solid browser.

Firefox is a lumbering behemoth I gave up long ago. I've been an Opera user for a couple of years but have very recently switched to Chrome. I found myself resorting to Chrome when Opera couldn't show some websites so thought I'd just make the jump for good.

Now I'm considering moving back because of one really annoying thing: ctrl+tab in Chrome is not most recently used ordered! What the hell? You can't switch back and forth between two tabs easily and even worse: it's an issue they've known about for years but won't fix it/enable it as an option.

youtube is always crashing for me too, plus i find the bookmarks very un-userfriendly. it's easier to just type the damn link in again than go all through the menus.

only reason i havent switched is cos im lazy

Youtube crashing sounds like a Flash player problem. Dropping sites sounds like network problem. I agree though that Firefox is too full of bloat these days. I did try Chrome for a month or so, but there's just a few UI things that bug me about it so I went back to FF.
