Good luck mate, it can't hurt. I would have though a case fan would I nice gesture - I mean if you really liked it, you're bound to buy another 2 or so for the rest of your case, so still they manage additional sales.

Just got the following response:

reviews and I'll gladly link them on our website, but I must ask you to

The guy just emailed me back saying he had spoken to his boss and they agree to send me some stuff. Amazing!! Smiling now. Cheers Melbourne for the advise. They said they had been talking about my review and liked it and decided that why would make an exception!
