I'm Famous

Water cooling grass route have changed a lot. They used to be soly about cooling abilty how ever this is why i steeped in a while back and started up mayhems as a quote to one reviewer from my self one time a few years back " Water cooling is no longer about Heat removal that all ready perfected its like wearing you PC around your neck in public and screaming out "Yo Man check this out Bro"".

Water cooling is the best way to customise your system and we need new blood to bring in new ideas. I know im working with a new lad who creative ideas are brilliant. Were hoping to bring his ideas to life though us and if they work well its another step forwards.

Nice one Rich!! It's true though, it's insane how much watercooling has picked up over the last year or so that I've come back to it. I think it's down to aesthetics and noise reduction personally. I know I definitely decided to get back into watercooling after I saw my friends 800D watercooled, and then got my 480 and absolutely detested the jet engine noise level it made. Not to mention also the sheer variety of blocks you have available to you. I remember my very first venture into Watercooling back in early 2002, I had a behemoth Eheim pump because those were the standard at the time for PC watercooling, and had to sit it on top of my case, because there just weren't any cases big enough at the time which were relatively affordable to accomodate internal watercooling (I think I had the Coolermaster ACTS case back then).

There are just so many more options now for people who want to venture into WCing and you really can start off with a relatively cheap setup to wet your feet (no pun intended) and go from there. I know I've sunk at least £400 into my WC setup now (always wanting to add more stuff, and as a result having to get more tubing/fittings).

I'm just glad to see WC making a come back, and with retailers like OCUK and product developers like Mayhems, I can see it only getting better and better :D
