i just put together my pc

x2 3.8 ghz
x1800 xt ( 512 )
1gb geil ddr2
asus a8n-e
enerax 530w
250 gb maxtor hd

i hit the power button and everything turns on , fans spin , lights turn on noral stuff.

then after a few seconds of waiting for the monitor to turn on , nothing happens. So i press the on button and its reads " No signal Input "

I have reconnected the cables , started up with just the gfx me and cpu and nothing.

I am really stuck with this and do not know what this could be.

i plugged it in to another monitor and now i get 3 beeps from the on board speaker ... what does this mean?

Possibly not seated correctly? The beeps will related to a specific problem. It may say in the mobo manual. I can't remember off the top of my head what 3 beeps could be, sorry. :(

Hmm only other thing to try is perhaps if the mobo is SLi try a different PCI-E slot, or if not, does the graphics card require an additional power connection?

But apart from that I don't know. Any other PC's in which you could try the card? Perhaps try re-setting the BIOS jumper as well just incase.

Have you got the Ram in the right sockets, as some stupid boards tell you you have a video problem when you have the Ram in the wrong sockets, Typically the DFi's, could be worth a shot i spose.
