Im getting some stick for trying to sell a CRT TV

I really thought this would be worth £30 to someone so I stuck it on a local 'for sale' facebook group. I am getting a bit of flack for trying to sell it, some have said I would need to pay them to take it away and so on. I am trying to make light of the situation and explain the various alternative uses for the TV, however my photoshop skills are crap.

Here is a pic of the TV. I was thinking something along the lines of a wrecking ball, strong man competition and so on. Be interesting to see what you lot come up with if you are bored

It's also a bit of a crap pic but sure its only for a laugh.

I have a 50" Panasonic PHD8 plasma monitor (no TV inputs) that is apparently of no use to anyone

It's working perfect too, would be good for someone with retro consoles. It was bought for my Amiga if memory serves me. It weighs an absolute ton though, it has been sitting on a chest of drawers for years and the weight actually made the sides bow out and the drawers fall down

I've trained with a fair bit of strongman kit, it really won't be that heavy

I seem to remember this kind of telly being really heavy actually. It's quite a hefty lump of glass in there when you get to high inch sizes.

Actually still pretty valuable to anyone who owns retro consoles, you need an RF in for the proper old ones, and even old RGB or SCART signals don't tend to work on flatscreens.

i ended up taking my old one to the skip a couple of years ago, not worth the hassle of trying to sell.

I still have a 15" working panasonic one in the office/games room. I just use it for retrogaming on my master system mainly thou I do have quite a few retro consoles.

I would get a bigger one or even a broadcast monitoring CRT but I don't have the room as I have a dual apple imac setup in the office.

God knows what I will do once there's no TV with analogue tuners in them.. (sad times)..
