Im getting some stick for trying to sell a CRT TV

I must say £30 for it is a bit steep, what model is it exactly? It's true they are still useful for retro gaming but that's very niche and for the same price you can pick up a Bang Olufsen or Sony Trinitron which are widely regarded as the best for that purpose.

Photoshop some pornstars on to the screen like OCuk do for some monitors, I'm sure it will sell then. ;)

We just gave our crt tv to the British heart foundation and they came and picked it up. Funnily enough they got £30 for it when it sold.

try selling it on some retro gaming groups on facebook.

I just stuck £30 on the advert without really thinking about it tbh, with those type of groups someone always knocks a bit off anyways.

I live in N.Ireland so posting is not really an option :D

I can see myself just giving it away, its too good to dump.

I'm sure there are people out there with little money that would gladly take it, but these are also people that have no way of picking it up. Just ring a charity that does pickups and they will take it as long as it has a remote.

It's worth nothing, saw one for sale at a car boot a year or so ago, the price eventually dropped to £1 and it didn't sell!

I'd see if you can give it to a charity or something.

Yeah - they really are worth four fifths of five eights of **** all now ^_^

Our old TV is still in the TV cabinet but hasn't been used for two years, I just can't face trying to drag it out as I did my back in getting in there, that was many years ago still worked last time I checked.

I still use a CRT portable in the shed as I fear an LCD plastic screen wouldn't last long with the dust and damp.

If that is 50hz and had you lived near me, I would have given you £20 for it. Always useful for my retro setup just in case the current one blows up.
