Well, as nice as last week's hot weather was, it's burnt the **** out of my gingerness and my head and neck look like that crazy dutch guy from Austin Powers.

What's the best way to get rid of crispy skin? :(

peel it off or have a sand wash. Then plenty of after sun/moisturiser.
In the future get some none greasy, none white spray on sun lotion. factor 50+
it's £13 a bottle but it's BOGOF in Tesco at the moment.

Don't want to be getting skin cancer.

as gay as it sounds moisturise. seriously. I myself have just got back from the Dom Rep (40 degree heat  ) and have been using aftersun moisturiser for 2 weeks now so i keep my tan and dont peel, no peeling here yet. (only got back friday)

I'm using simple moisturiser at the moment but all it does is make the dry skin all moist and it looks like someones been flicking cottage cheese at me.

I think prevention would've been the best cure :/.

I had this problem a bit a week or so ago. I'd been to a regatta and got burnt. Burnt in a print of my racing lycra no less. Much embarrassment :o :( It's gone nice and brown now though

Nothing embarrassing about all-in-one tans, thats what summers are made for!

sandpaper like a real man.

I never burn, I just tan even if it isn't that sunny, they all take the **** because they reckon I use tanning beds at work. Never burnt since I spent 2 weeks in crete in the summer a few years back and destroyed my skin (no suncream til I realised how badly I was burning, then it was too late)

Aloe Vera is what you want. Get it and get in now.

Out of interest, how hot was it?

Had the same problem this week, slightly ginger!!!

Just left it mostirused using manly nivea for men, going away now.
