Done - on its way now.... and then the fun begins!

Not everyone who has offered advice will be reading this, but can I just say that this site has been a revelation and the expertise and support offered by so many different people is staggering.

Thanks to everyone for their help and long may these forums reign!

 Agreed

What's the point of having a beast of a PC and getting a 20" screen?

You can get a 22" for a little extra, like one of the Samsungs, which are really good. You lose a bit of sharpness, but you gain in immersion, which makes games even better. Plus, you won't be squinting to read text.

This is what I'd do with £1600...

Dunno......

Hasn't there been more stories of probs with the GeiL than the OCZ?

My cooling must surely be quieter with not much compromise on temps

I would prefer the 20" sharpness than the 22" space

Thought GTX was o/kill for the monitor spec

More HDD storgae space on mine

I would argue my case is better

Don't get me wrong, I'm not dissing yours - that was great too.

I think a certain level of "taste" comes into it too... "one man's meat" and all that....

In my view watercooling is just not worth the outlay, therefore with mine you will have a superior performing machine for the same price, which is still very quiet. Plus you WILL appreciate the difference with the 22in screen.
