Hi All

i have had my new system for 2 days now and its wicked loving everything, everything expect the Linksys WMP110 300Mbps Wireless-N PCI and Vista. i have yet to get on the internet (im back on my 6 yaer old pc with XP

) with it. all i get when connecting to our linksys router is FREEZE!!! :mad:

its simply does not work at all its so usless im gonna have to send it back to OC who can then send it back to Linksys with joy!.

im reading post after post on all over tech sites on the net saying that this card is notroiously bad with vista, everyone is having exactly the same issue, and it loses connectiviy if you ever get it, in a bout 5 mins form start up

i have yet to find a solution that actually works!

Please help!

would it not be easier to just replace the wireless card if thats the only problem?

i mean send back the wireless card mate not the whole thing..i built it myself like most people on this forum...

sorry i didnt read it to well it looked like it was a branded pc the way i read it. I will defo just send it back if you are having problems with vista and the wireless card.

Do you have the latest drivers?

Do you have Vista SP1 installed? My Linksys wireless card was dodgy before SP1, and now it works perfectly.

Yeah, my Linksys doesn't work under vista. I had to download the chipset drivers directly from their website and it works a dream now.

BTW I think this kind of discussion is against the rules? (RMA stuff)
