The guy in the chav crowd at 2:54 has a really weird head.

Hahah yeah.

To demonstrate the type of people who like this music here is a youtube comment, unfortunatley the miss-spelt swearies which add to the humour will have to be starred out:

"y make coments about this type ov music if u dnt like it dnt ***** listen to it insted ov makein all these sly comments people myt not like watu listen too but each to there own si keep ya appinions to ya self for gods sake"

Who are the fools? The chavs with their 'terrible' video on The Box or the people typing unfounded vitriol over the internet?

Their music might be crap and sound stupid but it's successful and that says more about it than anything.

The thing, they are actually pretty good at what they do. One of the main things is mc'ing like this is notoriously hard to record in a studio and work in tracks.

The entire scene survived off live sets/radio, theres little recorded commerical tracks. So what they are doing, they are doing well as they don't sound that bad.

The only problem is, and don't get me wrong I was exactly the same when I did it as a lad, is how unintelligent the writing is. I can't get my head round why every thing that revolves around their rhymes is trying to prove they are the best. The content is poor, there are/was mc's who are smart and intelligent especially going to the 90's, sets over half an hour.. its quite impressive.

Part of me wants to go back and work on some garage or something, but using intelligent rhymes, long gone are the days of the manananananananananananana links.

Heh - tried to watch the first video but about 30 seconds in I got a very brief BSOD and then my PC restarted! Having now watched it in its entirety (and I deserve a medal) I can only agree with my computers original assessment :o

Makes me glad I now live 4,000 miles away and won't have to listen to this garbage thumping out of a Nova SRi parked outside McDonalds.
