They have been delayed due to Ivy Bridge being delayed.
The best guess is May, but nothing is guaranteed.

They are pushing the boundary with the 9.7", a 27" will cost how much?!?
Think of the number of pixels needed.
Think of the number of potential dead pixel.
Think of what is an acceptable number or tolerance
Think of the yield percentage
At the moment, even if they could make one, the yield will be so low that you'll be bending over for it. And when you look at it at more than arms length (you can't say that for a tablet), that resolution is not needed. It will be nice but for essential.
OLED seems more likely.

Given that they recently introduced thunderbolt, how likely do you al think hdmi and USB 3.0 are? USB 3.0 maybe, but hdmi no chance.
I'd put good money on seeing neither. HDMI isn't needed as they do a Thuderbolt to HDMI dongle.
