iMac 27" Screen

Hi Folks

My iMac screen gone funny. at the top of the screen it hard to explain looks mucky and i have taken the glass off and it actully the LCD that is funny when I put a white background on the screen look dirty know what i mean.. Is this a known issue? Only started yesterday.. as not noticed it since and wondering if any of the updates apple release done this defect?

I believe it is an issue. Google "imac yellow screen/tint/tinge"

But How come it was not there before? I have had this for about 5 month now and it never was there before till yesterday....

Just googled it and it not Yellow ting it hard explain it looks mucky

Call Apple and get it replaced...

Sounds like a faulty backlight.

Yeah I thought the earlier models had some issues, a couple of batches I think.

Best take it back to Apple, should still be in warranty?

Though I post a update...

Took it too apple store meadow hall... Left it with them... Next day got a email to go back in for a brand new iMac so they gave me a new one stealed in box and result I now have iLife 11
