imac and photo editing

I'll repeat, for a good one... Screen isn't everything. You can get ok ones for less but a good one will set you back £500 or more.

Edit: ok £500 is a little high, £450 will get you a good one. I'm intrigued what good 27" 2560x1440 monitor you can get for £250 though. Even the Hazro and DMG aren't that cheap (ok, rather than good).

I chose the Dell 2713HM and it would be my recommendation. Chose it over the other CCFL version as I didn't want the heat that one puts out. The HM has reduced gamma but still covers the entirety of sRGB so is fine for me. There are a couple of other good one out there though, possibly an Asus as well.
