iMac vs This?

Reminds me of my old work place.

We used to have a 'quick' game of Starcraft at lunch...

One Saturday we started 30mins after we started work and finished the match 10mins before the end of the day......whoops :o

wow, a big job indeed :o - but very interesting to see inside :)

like i said above though, i'm quite conservative with space and don't really hoard videos etc, so 640GB will still be a luvly upgrade for me so i'll stand by my 80 quid saving over the 1TB version :) - work stuff will be on an external shared drive too so thats not an issue...

it just depends how much performance you lose under bootcamp.

You don't loose any performance under Bootcamp as its just a brand name for a set of drivers and EFI emulation which allows Windows XP & Vista to run on a computer without a BIOS.

Effectively there is no performance loss, and any loss would be so negligible as to the point you would not even notice it.

That is to say if you are comparing two identical machines a Mac and a PC and the PC was the same price, then the Mac would be the better deal as you could run the Mac OS and Windows on the Mac where as the PC would only run Windows and the various Linux/Unix distributions (which the Mac could also run).
