What causes image corruption - is it a trashed PCB or heat related??
I have seen this on the bay and was wonndering if it was worth a punt

This is an auction for a faulty ex-display EVGA GTX 275. This card powers up fine, appears to work fine until you start gaming or processing images, then the display becomes corrupt hence sold as faulty.

Since it works until put under load, I was thinking that this might be fixable, run it without the shroud, try a better psu etc etc

Am I mad?

PCB Baking?

If it is a heat issue then it might be easily fixed, anything else and its probably to complicated to fix.

Is corruption usually caused by heat issues?
