Image Re-Size Help For Sons Bedroom

^ Just noticed the suspect stain in the groin area.:eek:

Hello,

I need this to fit a Wall the size of 70" x 86"as best as possible, it's very square as the blank image shows below. Can anyone help with the sizing/cropping of the image? Click the Spiderman image for full image.

Every site i use they completely crop it off but ideally i would like to get the image all in to at least the start of his fired 'web'.

It's for my sons bedroom wall, will be made into a mural.

Thanks everyone. He will be over the moon.

Chris.

Lots of artefacts, duplication etc. etc.

P.S: I can;t do naff all about the walls they look terrible and I've spent far too long (albeit had fun) on it, need someone like Brizzles or GSXR to look at it.

Either way for the size you want it it's probably going to look a bit naff.

I hope, by Mural, the op means someone is going to paint it on the wall, in which case the painter can just use artistic licence to pad out the image/fill the gaps.
Same, otherwise the source image needs to be 21,000px X 25,800px in order to look anything near a clear image.

Have not applied a half-tone effect to this, as I can't find a good effect to apply on it yet. But here's my attempt.

This one is only 20% original size. The full one can be reached once I upload it to a google drive or something to share with as it's over 100mb in size in png format.

:: edit ::

Got a slightly newer submission, only 12.5% of original size. Full size image is 130MB in size, not uploaded yet, will do so soon.

And here's a link to my google my drive, hope it works:

OK done. Updated post with it above.

Please be aware that due to the size, a it may not render at all (depending on your system). This version is at 7831x9621 at 72dpi.

I "might" be able to squeeze a larger size out of it, but it's pushing it, as I'm editing it on an old CS2 copy of Photoshop which has a whole host of limitations on it.

@Meddling-Monk has certainly done a great effort above, but I think (hope) a bit of AI upscaling can further improve it. I used https://letsenhance.io to process and upscale the image to a whopping 14092x17318 (>230 Megapixels). I'll admit to being amazed at what it has managed to do to the image!

Crop from original:

Crop from processed:

There are some visible artifacts of the processing but as it is a cartoon image I think they actually fit pretty well to the visual style.

The png file for the processed image (390MB!) is at www.thehunthouse.co.uk/images/spidermanbig_submission_auto_x2.png

@GSXRMovistar @Delvis Thanks! :)

@Selekt0r Nice! You might need to redo that again though, as I cleaned up some parts of the image I submitted (minor little things) so it's a more natural looking image now (hopefully). Gaps in brickwork fixed, unsightly overlay that stood out was melded, the smoke/mist didn't have a guassian blur effect applied (it is now), brickwork looking flat (edged them out a bit so it looked a bit more real) and overall touch up here and there. :)

Upload in a bit, then you can head on over to the upscaler and reapply it again. :)

Hope that works. Will need to test in a moment.

Sure - post in here once you've uploaded it and I'll run it through again :)
