Image software

Just tried installing Norton Ghost 10 on my Vista PC, it comes up with imcompatibility issues.

Does anyone know if its okay to proceed with the installation, has anyone installed it?

When I ran MS's Upgrade test before moving to XP, it specifically said that Ghost was incompatible. Symantec's site backed that up (sorry about the pun).

Acronis True Image 10 works fine in Vista.

I bought ghost and sold it foe that very reason, again after going form me to xp same probs, going from xp to vista same probs, so the money i got from ghost i invested in acronis, yet to mess about wiht it yet, but its highly recomened by a lot of people and a lot of reviews.

Acronis True Image 10 is a good product. I use it regularly to restore partitions, data and computers. Recommended.

Unless of course you have Vista Ultimate in which case you could just use the built in backup software.

yes it may be good since i believe it is a cut down version of one of the popilar backup programs, but alas its no where near as good as a full blown acronis.
