At the risk of triggering Will again....it is just a horrible compromise.

What's the alternative for people who aren't blessed with mansions?

I've had showers fitted in every bath since I was kid, so for you it might be horrible, for everyone else (I'd say) it's the perfect synergy.

.it is just a horrible compromise.

It's a great compromise! If the alternative is not having a shower at all....

On offer at the moment, so picked two of these up for just over £16. One will be a gift, I don't really know what I'll; do with the other one!

I got given a battery base for one, so maybe I'll just make it a portable one, for wherever I want it!

Are you negative about absolutely everything? you seem very bitter.

P shaped baths are great for width restricted bathrooms, they allow people to have a wider area for a shower, still allowing room for a bath and subsequently a wider sink area.

Hardly pointless

Have to agree that showers are for showering and baths are for bathing. I'm lucky enough to have lived in places with one of each, don't know what I'll do when I can get my own place. The compromise would bother me a lot.

I mean, it's the ultimate first world problem. What difference does it make what shape the tray is that you stand in to shower?

Ew gross your shower tray has tall sides!!

I don't see the point of baths, havent used one since I was a kid.

I find the process inconvenient and time consuming, not particularly relaxing, and the concept is slightly grim. Soaking in your own filth. :p
