Just wondering as I have more or less the same case as you just without the mesh. Does leaving it open effect the cooling? I, probably incorrectly, always assumed an open case wouldn't mean the fans aren't working as well as they could be. It's getting pretty toasty in my case so I need to get some additional fans

@Vince I'd still want to test them to be sure :p

Going to be doing some sprints and hill climbs this year, so a new FIA homologated helmet and HANS device are called for.

And a nice free bag from DemonTweaks to keep them in :)

The US layout is not ideal. I'm yet to find the pound key. I also have can't get it to connect to my PC, but it connected to my work laptop no problem, and my phone for that matter. But apart from that I'm really liking it. The shortcuts are quite intuitive, it feels really nice to type with, sounds are very satisfying (I got brown), build quality seems high, my wife says it lights up like LGBTQI+ (this is the first RGB device I've ever had, not something I was searching for tbh). It's good on the whole...if I could only get it to connect to my damn PC!!!

I dont leave it open generally - Side is back on and its happily doing its thing.

Sadly not. alt shift 4 does nothing, and there is no Alt GR, so Alt+0163 also does nothing! The software with the keyboard is quite confusing, but I'm sure I'll eventually be able to get something set up. Until then, it's going to have to be copy and paste.

When using US layout I just use "GBP" instead, far easy to deal with that problem than multiple keypresses or finding icons to copypasta.

Honestly, I think I'll have to set up an autocorrect that changes GBP to the pound sign. It doesn't make sense for me to write an English customer in England, receiving an email from an English company, 1,000 GBP.

Some written symbols (including currency) don't always transfer well, hence why I stick to using the written format for removal of doubt.

Can you try something out, even RipRight hasn't done this yet going by his instagram message lol. For the past week I have been doing a pull and hold and see how long I can hold them apart with just one pair of the thick bands on. So have both sticks vertical close to your chest then pull them apart about 7 inches or so. I was able to get a full minute up until today and managed 2 minutes. By this estimation I reckon a minute a month should not be too demanding until it gets a bit silly hard. Around 1m 30s my arms start to shake so it's definitely hitting what needs to be hit :eek:
 
Sometimes I forget this is primarily a computer based forum and then I see about 60 posts discussing keyboards and it snaps me right back to reality :p
